Princes and Princesses
Over the summer, some of the students at Memaw's Stables decided to start a horse rescue in order to save as many horses as possible and so other children in the community would be able spent time with a horse.
They ride, train and care for the horses at stables under Memaw's supervision so they full comprehend the magnitude of this undertaking.
They worked with a local artist to design all the apparel being offered for sale and the gross profit of all sales goes to the Grand Valley Horse Rescue. GVHR.org
Meet Some of Our Horses
Paulsar
Paulsar is our resident pasture pretty as he is permanently lame. He loves playing with all the princesses at the stables.
Simon of Rio
Simon of Rio is the first rescue for the Grand Valley Horse Rescue. He is 23 years old and absolutely adores the kids. He follows them around like a puppy dog.
Maxi
Maximum Horse Power or Maxi as he is known at the stables, is a recovering barrel horse. Over the last two years, his princess has turned him into a western dressage horse. He is also the resident clown of the stables.
